This very recent trail event has already earned a place among the best ! In the ideal setting of the gorges of Haute-Dordogne, runners cross over the Marèges Dam and face the Puys de La Collange and Puys de Manzagol slopes.
FOUR TRAIL CIRCUITS
Le Sourire de la Dordogne
A technical circuit stretching 35 km / 22 mi with 1500 m / 4921 ft of ascent through the gorges of Haute-Dordogne and through two départements, Corrèze and Cantal. The runners will make a unique crossing of the Marèges Dam to the St Pierre Lake in Cantal, an ascent of Puy de La Collange, and a return across the Vernèjoux bridge.
Trail des Gorges
A circuit stretching 20 km / 12 mi with 500 m / 1640 ft of ascent. This Corrèze-based circuit is accessible to trail runners and hikers alike. It includes a passage along the Roc Grand waterfall, a stopover at the panoramic viewpoint over the Marèges Dam, and the ascent of Rocher du Grisot and Puy Manzagol.
Trail du Barrage de Marèges
A circuit of 11 km / 6.8 mi, is exceedingly technical, with an ascent of 600 m / 1968 ft and unobstructed views over the gorges. It is performed in a relay race of 2*5.5 km / 3.4 mi
Trail du Belvédère
Along 5 km / 3 mi with 300 m / 984 ft of ascent, offers an incomparable view over the Monts du Cantal and the Marèges Dam.
