Vertical drop : 200 m

This path, starting from the granite village of Chavanac, leads us to one of the most visited sites on the Millevaches plateau, the Longeyroux peat bog. This 255-hectare peat bog occupies the bottom of a wet basin that collects rainwater from the surrounding puys; this is how the emblematic river of the plateau, the Vézère, is born. A short detour to the site of the Hundred Stones recalls the legend of the herd of sheep petrified by a curse.
